What we do
BodemixBid runs silent auctions for used heavy machinery across Europe. Sellers list a machine with its hours, service history and photographs; buyers place a single sealed offer before the lot closes. There is no live bidding war and no ticking price — the lot closes, the offers are opened, and the highest one wins.
Why sealed bids
An open auction rewards whoever is watching in the last minute. A sealed auction rewards whoever knows what the machine is worth. Bidders name their real number once, without being nudged upward by somebody else's, and a buyer in another time zone competes on equal terms with one standing next to the lot.
Who buys here
Contractors, farms, plant hire firms and dealers, mostly from Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland and the UK. Most lots are ex-fleet or ex-contractor machines with documented hours; some are sold as inspected, and the listing always says which.
How we keep it fair
No offer is visible to anyone — other bidders included — until the lot closes. The reserve is never published. Every machine is listed with its real hours and condition, and where a machine has a fault, the listing says so. A lot that does not meet its reserve does not sell.
